The article 'Internet Addiction: Too Much Time Online' discusses that kids between the ages 8-18 are now more addicted to the internet or other technologic internet related things. I personally believe that teenagers and kids spend way too much time on the internet. In this article it states that kids between the ages 8-18 spend on average 10 hours and 45 minutes a day on the internet. That is way too much, just think of all the other things that they can be doing with their life, such as go outside and enjoy the sun, maybe go help your parents around the house, or get offline for a bit and spend a couple hours doing your homework or studying, there is so much more productive things they could be doing. I can tell you from experience with my little brother that he is addicted to video games, something a little different than the internet but it can relate, I know that he is showing early stages of addiction he probably spends 4-5 hours a day on the games... I also say he’s addicted because literally everywhere you see him he has to have a game in hand, also his heads not in the right place meaning he isn’t really aware because his minds glued to the game, but it’s been getting better now that the weathers nicer we’ve been going out and playing hockey or baseball.
