Games are great to focus on because they provide a clear goal and present challenges from super easy to super hard when it comes to programming them in. The best thing is that everything you learn in programming games applies to programming at higher levels. So why not create some explosions and give out some bonus points as a term project?!?

For example, one student is developing an interactive score tracking website for the volleyball and basketball teams this term - that's their individual project. Excellent option for a self-motivated student with some ideas they want to develop!
