Looking at Deep Thought Index# 11
The article ‘Internet Addiction: Too much time spent online discusses too much time spent on media. I personally believe that teenagers spend
an acceptable amount of time online. Now the reason I say this is because I usually spend an acceptable amount of time on the internet. I do
not agree with the study because I do not know anyone that spends 10 hours each day on the internet. My average time spent on the internet
each day is around 2 hours, nowhere near the amount reported on the survey. Kids these days do not watch much TV. So the 4:29 is definitely not correct.
When I watch TV, it’s usually because there’s a hockey game. One thing that I totally disagree with is the half an hour spent on movies each day.
Also I think the internet is a great place to learn info. Personally, I’ve learned lots facts on the internet. In the end, as long as you use the
internet sensibly, it is a wonderful place.
