The article “Internet Addiction: Too Much Time Online” discusses the teens spend too much online or media. I personally believe that teenagers spend too much online. 10 hours and 45 minutes a day account almost half of the day. I can’t believe teens can spend half of the day online but the problem of spending too much online is out of control. If a teen spend too much online and affect their social life, it will be concern by the researchers and parents. However, teens need to spend time online to search information for their classes. They can get what they need for their classes. So, I believe we can’t avoid students spend time in the internet but we should avoid the youngsters spend less time with their family. In my experience, most of the teens will use their smart phone during the dinner time. They will not talk to each other. The internet will become a distraction. Parents need to concern and care the internet use of their child but if their child is 16, they should be self-control and cannot addict to the media.
