The article “internet Addiction” : Too much time online discusses the effects of the internet and hours spent on the internet or social media. I personally believe that teenagers spend too much time online. Many adults do not realize that social media is taking over the lives of the current generation, and they do not control their kid’s interaction with the interwebs. I personally know of many friends who are addicted to the internet and social media, and their personalities and reactions have changed very imminently. Usually, this has been a negative effect on them, causing them to be more short tempered and angry. Overall, I think that the internet is a rising concern for our generation as it dictates numerous events and people. Parents should start to control their kids and restricting their usage and interaction with others online.
